Halloween is a fun time for everyone. It’s great fun for kids who get to dress up, and then run around with their friends and family visiting other people and getting lots of candy. But it’s fun for adults too. Adults can dress up, and there are always tons of Halloween parties to attend.
While costumes are great, the Halloween spirit goes beyond just the night of Halloween. There are lots of people who enjoy dressing up to show how much they love Halloween, sometimes as early as late September! One great way to show your love of Halloween, without having to wear tee shirts with black cats or earrings of ghosts, is to decorate your nails. Nails allow you to make your statement in a more subtle way and are always great fun to decorate.
To decorate your nails for Halloween, add orange acrylic to the top of the nail and then brush it toward the free edge. Make an off-center V on the free edge using gold acrylic and then apply black acrylic. Make sure that you apply the black over the gold, but leave an even amount of gold showing on either side. Outline the black in gold confetti and then cover with clear acrylic.

There are ways to protect your investment by keeping your nail polish fresh and new looking for a longer period of time. First, nail polish color will become damaged by prolonged exposure to the sun. Therefore, it will be beneficial for your nails (as well as your skin and hair) to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
One way to preserve your personal bottles of nail polish is to make sure the bottles are shut tight. Leaving the bottle open will expose the polish to air, causing it to dry up. This will make the entire bottle essentially unusable, and you will have to throw it away.
Furthermore, there are brands of nail polish that will last longer than others. When purchasing nail polish, it is important to keep in mind that you get what you pay for. In other words, the more expensive the nail polish, the more durable that polish is going to be after being transferred to your fingernails. There are big differences between qualities of nail polish, and it is likely that you will have to experiment before finding the one that is best suited for you.

Although most men are not comfortable with decorating their nails with polish, others find it a fantastic form of personal expression. I know what you’re thinking, what kind of guy is going to wear nail polish? Well, there are many valid looks that guys can pull off which require the use of nail polish. Furthermore, many average guys choose to use the nail strengthening clear polishes in order to simply keep their nails clean, healthy, and polished.
The Goth Boy: Many of the guys who wear colored nail polish fall into the “Goth” category. These guys can choose between black polish, or extremely deep shades of blue and grey. Either way, dark nail polish is almost essential to the Goth wardrobe.
The Preppy Boy: some guys simply get manicures because they want to appear clean and groomed at all times. This is becoming increasingly popular amongst younger American guys as manicured nails set off the impression of comfort and confidence. After all, there’s nothing sexier than a guy who is comfortable in his own skin. Clean, clear nails are simply an added bonus!
For guys who choose to manicure their nails themselves, it is important to follow the basic guidelines of nail care. Keep nails trim, soak nails in water, and properly care for your cuticles. Remember guys, daily buffing of the nails will keep your nails looking smooth and shiny. Additionally, it will increase the blood flow to the tips of your fingers, allowing for stronger, healthier nails.

Before you proceed to turn your nails into your own personal canvas, there are some steps you should take to ensure that your artwork turns out optimal. The first step is to file your nails to the appropriate shape and length. Using a nail file, however, can be relatively tricky. First, if you want to remove a great deal of length from your nails, you should begin by clipping the. This is a quick process, and you will want to make sure you don’t clip too short. You will want to leave room to shape your nails with a file.
Hold the file at an angle at each corner of your nail and stroke it lightly until your nails begin to take on a smooth rounded shape. Many people choose to buff their nails after filing, which gives them a slightly smoother texture and appearance.
After your nails have been shortened or shaped, you can apply a top coat of nail polish. You can either brush this polish onto your nails, or you can use a toothpick to create custom designs. Obviously, creating your own designs will take significantly longer, and there is a good chance that you will mess up and have to re-start a nail. In any case, custom designs can be a fun and exciting way of painting your own nails.
If you don’t have the time or skill to paint your own custom designs, you can fabric or stickers instead. Simply apply the fabric or stickers to the nail, and cover it with a top coat of clear nail polish for a unique and exciting look.

Skateboarding is usually thought of as a guy thing. But that is about as far from the truth as you can get. There are plenty of girl skaters who are excellent at their hobby and some are even better than the boys! But just because a girl skateboards does not mean that she can’t enjoy some beautiful nails. There are lots of colors and designs that will suit a skater girl well while not detracting from her bad girl image.
One great design uses red, white and black acrylic paint, a detail brush, and top coat. This design is excellent in this color scheme but if there are colors that the skater girl prefers over these then more power to her. Pick and choose the colors that suit you best. This bold design is excellent for any skater girl who is looking to be feminine while still being tough. After all, what could be tougher than a skull and tribal markings? Add flames behind the skull if you prefer the flames to the tribal markings and you will look just as tough.
To make this design, first paint the nail red. Then use a small detail brush to apply white acrylic paint in the shape of a skull and the black acrylic paint in tribal markings that appear to go behind the skull. Use the brush to outline the skull in black acrylic paint and to add the teeth, eyes, and nose on the skull. Now go over it all with more black paint, adding detail to make the skull look more fierce. More white paint will help you add a bit more depth to the image. Add top coat to protect the design. You can add the skull on only a few fingers or all of them, whatever suits your fancy best.
