Skateboarding is usually thought of as a guy thing. But that is about as far from the truth as you can get. There are plenty of girl skaters who are excellent at their hobby and some are even better than the boys! But just because a girl skateboards does not mean that she can’t enjoy some beautiful nails. There are lots of colors and designs that will suit a skater girl well while not detracting from her bad girl image.
One great design uses red, white and black acrylic paint, a detail brush, and top coat. This design is excellent in this color scheme but if there are colors that the skater girl prefers over these then more power to her. Pick and choose the colors that suit you best. This bold design is excellent for any skater girl who is looking to be feminine while still being tough. After all, what could be tougher than a skull and tribal markings? Add flames behind the skull if you prefer the flames to the tribal markings and you will look just as tough.
To make this design, first paint the nail red. Then use a small detail brush to apply white acrylic paint in the shape of a skull and the black acrylic paint in tribal markings that appear to go behind the skull. Use the brush to outline the skull in black acrylic paint and to add the teeth, eyes, and nose on the skull. Now go over it all with more black paint, adding detail to make the skull look more fierce. More white paint will help you add a bit more depth to the image. Add top coat to protect the design. You can add the skull on only a few fingers or all of them, whatever suits your fancy best.
