Shellac for nails is considered a manicure miracle since shellac treatment assures a chip-free, smudge –free manicure that lasts for weeks. It is the new buzz of nail fashion and is becoming the most requested nail treatment in nail salons all over America and the rest of the world.
Shellac for nails provide a very slick look to the nails and its appearance remains the same except when new growth starts to show. This could be after 2 weeks or 14 days or even longer. All that is needed is a thin coating of the shellac polish on the nails, and a brief curing time under a UV lamp in between coats – 10 seconds after applying the base coat and 2 minutes after every coat of color and another 2 minutes for the top coat. After the top coat is cured, all that is required is to buff the nails with a soft cloth with alcohol and presto! Longer lasting, lovely smudge-free, chip-free manicure!
