Halloween is a fun time for everyone. It’s great fun for kids who get to dress up, and then run around with their friends and family visiting other people and getting lots of candy. But it’s fun for adults too. Adults can dress up, and there are always tons of Halloween parties to attend.
While costumes are great, the Halloween spirit goes beyond just the night of Halloween. There are lots of people who enjoy dressing up to show how much they love Halloween, sometimes as early as late September! One great way to show your love of Halloween, without having to wear tee shirts with black cats or earrings of ghosts, is to decorate your nails. Nails allow you to make your statement in a more subtle way and are always great fun to decorate.
To decorate your nails for Halloween, add orange acrylic to the top of the nail and then brush it toward the free edge. Make an off-center V on the free edge using gold acrylic and then apply black acrylic. Make sure that you apply the black over the gold, but leave an even amount of gold showing on either side. Outline the black in gold confetti and then cover with clear acrylic.

Flowers are very popular in nail art. In fact, they are so popular that many people have become very bored with using flowers in their nail art. However, flowers are not done yet. There are many ways to make flowers much more exciting when using them in nail art. Unusual colors can be used to create the flowers and glitter can be used to bring a lot of fun and excitement to the design. Rhinestones and different colored gems can be used as well. Even small bits of fabric or feathers can be used to dress up flower nail art.
Funky Nails Art
Black and white is an excellent base to make a new and exciting design for flower nail art. For this funky design you need black polish, white, pink, purple, yellow, and green paint, glitter, and top coat. First, make a diagonal French at the free edge in the black polish. Now, take the white paint and use a striper brush to make partial diagonal stripes from top to bottom. Use a small square brush and load it with the purple and pink paint. Use it to make three flower pets in the upper and lower corners and the side. Now use the green to make curved lines for stems and the yellow to make the flower centers. Use the yellow to also create accent dots and cover everything with a holographic glitter. Then apply top coat to protect the design.
