Halloween is a fun time for everyone. It’s great fun for kids who get to dress up, and then run around with their friends and family visiting other people and getting lots of candy. But it’s fun for adults too. Adults can dress up, and there are always tons of Halloween parties to attend.
While costumes are great, the Halloween spirit goes beyond just the night of Halloween. There are lots of people who enjoy dressing up to show how much they love Halloween, sometimes as early as late September! One great way to show your love of Halloween, without having to wear tee shirts with black cats or earrings of ghosts, is to decorate your nails. Nails allow you to make your statement in a more subtle way and are always great fun to decorate.
To decorate your nails for Halloween, add orange acrylic to the top of the nail and then brush it toward the free edge. Make an off-center V on the free edge using gold acrylic and then apply black acrylic. Make sure that you apply the black over the gold, but leave an even amount of gold showing on either side. Outline the black in gold confetti and then cover with clear acrylic.

Halloween is one of the most fun holidays that there is. Candy, costumes, happy little kids…not to mention the great parties. If you have a great costume, don’t you need great nails to go with it? There are lots of designs to choose from when it comes to Halloween nails, but one of the most interesting is a design with a haunting ghost.
For this design, you will need silver, black, and white polish, white and black acrylic, glue, and top coat. It’s not as difficult as it sounds to make this incredible design. First, paint the nail a solid silver. Then marbleize the white and black polishes on top of the silver polish. This gives an excellent smoky and ghostly appearance. On a form, make a 3-D ghost using the white acrylic. Use the black acrylic to create eyes and mouth of the ghost. Allow it to dry, then attach the ghost to the nail with a small drop of glue. Add top coat to protect the design.
This nail design is perfect for any Halloween party. If you aren’t into parties but still like Halloween it’s a great design to wear just to get in the spirit. It will go just fine with work outfits or every day clothes. You can add the ghost and the smoke to all your nails, just a few, or just add the ghost on a few nails. The choice is up to you and no matter how you choose to do it your nails will look great.
